Shirley was a wonderful cook and looked forward to preparing every meal she placed on her dining room table. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. All of her daughters, grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids were gifted with many blankets that she beautifully crocheted. She liked taking “special requests” for colors and patterns.
Shirley was the daughter of Patrick and Ruth Felix. She was also predeceased by her adoring husband of 64 years, Richard James Rulison and her siblings Carol and Anthony.
Shirley is survived by her loving brother Patrick and his wife Lisa. Shirley is also survived by her daughter Deborah Rulison, Colleen Carnine and her husband Dr. Steven Ecklund, Deanna Dechenne, Kathleen Hamrick and her husband Scott.
Shirley’s 7 grandkids, 15 great grandkids and 4 great-great grandkids were the light of her life and she cherished every moment shared with them.
A Celebration of Shirley’s well-lived life will be planned at some time in the future.
