A Homegoing Musical Celebration will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Church 508 Utah Street Berwick, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Bayou Vista Community Center 1333 Bellview Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Berwick Cemetery in Berwick, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her three daughters, Tonie (Rubin) Sims of New Iberia, Louisiana, and Dawn Skinner of Patterson, Louisiana, Tyane (Keith) Gray, Sr. of Slidell, Louisiana; one son, Maurice (Christine) Givens, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana; one brother, Aubrey Weeden, Sr. of Patterson, Louisiana; one brother-in-law, Charlie Kelly, Sr. of Morgan City, Louisiana; son-in-love, Benjamin Hines, Sr.; her godchildren, Tanya Givens of Gibson, Louisiana and Rashaud Thomas of Siracusaville, Louisiana; twenty seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of relatives and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Bena Weeden; her siblings, Alvin Weeden, Louise Johnson, and Sandra Kelly; her godfather, Roy Maze; two great grandchildren, Kevin Decuir and Legend Decuir; a nephew, Jammal Weeden; and her niece, Melanie Johnson.
