Hayward Malveaux Jr.

Affectionately, known as Junior, Uncle Junior and Mingo to those in the Dallas Metroplex area. He was a welder by trade in his early years. An avid entrepreneur, owning several businesses: Mingo's Detailing & Car wash in South Dallas, Mingo's Janitorial Service and his last venture Mingo's Collison & Body Shop. As, you can see he was proud to be· a MINGO! He let everyone know, he was the CEO, president and owner of his businesses. He had a rubber stamp and business cards to flash upon you at any transaction. He resided in the Metroplex for over fifty years, making many political friendships.

He relocated to Morgan City after the death of his beloved wife Morzine Manning Malveaux. He was a practicing Catholic until his health failed-. He enjoyed watching CNN and ESPN until they watched him! A Dallas Cowboy fan, even in the WHO DAT nation of the New Orleans Saints. He was the original OG (Original Gentleman) as he enjoyed a good mani/pedi, smelling like Neiman Marcus, dresses to the "T" (that is tailored clothing), and VIP parking for his one of many vehicles.

Proceeding him in death: his parents, wife, brothers: Clarence, John Henry "Charles', and Caston Malveaux; granddaughter Latirsa Jacobs (who passed away four hours later on that very same day).

Survivors: Only child and son, Albert "Lou" Jacobs and wife B. Midge; sisters, Mary Lou Brown, Shirley Mae Alfred (Robert), Betty Delco, and Jeanette Green; brothers, Joseph Malveaux, Floyd Malveaux and Calvin Malveaux (Twanna); grandson, Albert "Lil Lou" Jacobs, Jermall Hayward Jacobs, Akeem (Tearranny) Jacobs, Bryce Julun (Nnokwanda) and Brandon Julun; 23 greatgrandchildren, 4 great greatgrandchildren; and multitude of nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.

A visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, located at 415 Union St, Morgan City, LA 70380, on January 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the visitation, a Mass of a Christian Burial will take place at the same location, commencing at 12:00 pm.
