Lupe Silva

Lupe Silva of Morgan Hill, CA passed in peace, Monday the 23rd of March, 2015 at the age of 90. Survived by his loving wife Julia Silva, (daughter) Gloria Lepera , (son ) Lupe R. Silva and (daughter) Jackie Torres; He had 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Lupe was plant superintendent at Gentrys for 45 years in Gilroy, CA. He was a family man who could be called on to fix nearly everything when it came to fixing cars, a leaky faucet, busted pipes, electrical, gardening or to help on a ranch.....he could do it all! He served in World War II; he also had a license to drive the U.S.S. Shasta and Jeep (E6) for ships official business. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street, Morgan Hill, from 10-11:30am. A graveside service will take place at Mount Hope Memorial Park 250 Spring Ave, also in Morgan Hill, at 12pm. A celebration of life reception will be held at 1741 Cienega Road, Hollister, CA following the burial.
