Robert Edward Forstrom

Robert Edward Forstrom, devoted father of Heidi Forstrom-Webb and loving husband of Marcella, passed away on December 15, 2014, at the age of 90. Robert was the son of Alexander and Ingaborg Forstrom of Morgan Hill.

Robert was born in Quinnesec, Michigan, on August 23, 1924. His siblings, who mostly all preceded him in death, were his brothers Roy (Verna), Clarence (Kathleen), Erik (Rose), and Jack (Elsie), and his sisters Elsa (Ed) and Olga (Harry). When he married Marcella Gauger on July 1, 1950, he and his wife moved to Omro, Wisconsin. Later Robert and Marcella moved to Morgan Hill, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Marcella passed away on March 4, 1970. Heidi recalls that her father was a generous and wonderful man. Robert worked at the Ford Motor Company, as a tree surgeon, and as a carpenter for more than 50 years.

Robert is survived by his brother Dave (Lucille) and his sister Nancy (Nick, deceased). He is also survived by his daughter, Heidi Lynn, his son-in-law, Barry Webb, and his grandson Daniel. He also had many nieces and nephews.

Final internment for Robert will take place in the Peace Lutheran Memorial Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on December24, 2014. In lieu of flowers, his daughter Heidi requests that any donations be made to her son Daniel Webb’s college fund at the Commonwealth Credit Union, Morgan Hill, Savings Fund 116245.
