Vanessa Grace Aquilina

It is with sad and heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved mother, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Vanessa Statti-Aquilina. Vanessa passed away at her residence in Morgan Hill, CA on Monday, May 25 2015.

Vanessa was a character who loved entertaining her family and friends with stories, songs and adventures. Growing up in Morgan Hill, she worked at her parent’s drug store, Corner Drug, serving sandwiches and making Sundae’s in the Fountain while entertaining all who visited. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University, Vanessa earned her teaching credential at San Jose State University and taught in both Morgan Hill and San Jose. Vanessa loved spending time with her daughter, watching the “I Love Lucy Show” and singing along with Beyoncé. Vanessa will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Friends and Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 4 at 3:30pm at St. Catherine’s Parish,17400 Peak Ave, Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
