Anthony "Greg" Gregory Avery

Greg worked numerous jobs along with doing volunteer services for lots of people. He had a giving heart, but he would always let you know what he would or would not do.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Annette Moore, and brother Terry Calvin Moore.

Those left to cherish Greg’s memories include a sister, Rev. Deborah Caldwell, brothers, Thomas Leroy Moore, and Ronald Stephens Moore, also surviving are aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. The Reverends Douglas Cuthbertson, and Anthony Radcliff officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Tree A.M.E. Church, Morganton.

The Avery family has entrusted Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton with arrangements.
