Bradley Thomas Branton

Bradley Thomas Branton, age 40, of Marion, NC, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 9, 2016. He is now reunited with his Daddy, who he loved and missed so much. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and son.

He was born October 20, 1975 in Burke County, NC to Judy Whitson Wells of Marion, NC and to the late Thomas Lee Branton. Brad worked as a Brick Mason and always did an excellent job. He attended Cross Mill Church of God. He loved being a daddy more than anything in the world.

In addition to his Father, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Todd Branton and his grandfathers, Marvin Branton and Lee Whitson.

In addition to his Mother, also surviving Brad are his wife, Angel Bailey Branton of the home; two sons, Daniel Watkins of Marion, NC and his best buddy, Bradley Branton, Jr. of the home; one daughter, Heaven Caraway of the home; one sister, Danielle Widener and husband, B.R. of Marion, NC; and his grandmothers, Dixie Branton of Nebo, NC and Dorotha Whitson of Marion, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Cross Mill Church of God. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kerney Wilson and Evangelist Larry McAmis officiating. Burial will follow at Muddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
