Bronson Ralph Summers Sr.

He was born March 17, 1923 in Henderson County to the late John and Ada Maxwell Summers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother and 4 sisters.

Ralph served his country honorably in the Pacific Theater in WWII in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Ralph enjoyed camping and gardening.

Those left to cherish Ralph’s memory include his wife of 61 years Vivian Ingram Summers of the home; his sons Bronson Ralph Summers Jr. and wife Dianne of Myrtle Beach, SC and Johnny Michael Summers and wife Julie of Huntsville AL; his daughter Janice Jackson of Marion; grandchildren Eric Summers, Jordan Summers and Ariel Summers; and great grandchildren Caelyn Summers, Abi Summers and Ryland Summers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 1:00PM to 1:45PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Dr. Burt Wilbur and Reverend Bruce Piercy officiating.

Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
