Charles was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jason Lee Mosier; his parents, Teddy and Ellie Mae Mosier; and nine siblings.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kelly Ann Cirigliano and her husband Greg of Keystone Heights, Florida; his son, Timmy Neal Mosier and his wife Brea of the home; his cherished granddaughters, Grace Cirigliano and Emma Cirigliano, both of Keystone Heights, Florida; his granddaughters by marriage, Ashlee Motes and her husband Brandon of Hollister, Florida, and Kimberlin Richter of Connelly Springs, North Carolina; and his great-grandson, Trace Motes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and other loved ones.
During his life, Charles worked as a tree climber in Memphis, Tennessee until he became disabled. After laying down his tree climbing boots, he moved to Florida to take on his proudest accomplishment of being a grandfather. He was extremely proud of his roles as a father and grandfather.
Charles found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time playing dominoes and cards, shooting pool, casting a line while fishing, making chicken and dumplings, and watching his favorite television show, Gunsmoke, over and over. His quiet strength, sense of humor, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held in the coming weeks following his passing, with details to be announced by the family. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in memory of Charles Mosier to Carolina Caring Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, North Carolina 28658.
A life well lived, Charles leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
