He was born on June 3, 1958 to the late Charles Lee Kirk and Margaret June Kirk.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Kirk; brother, Roger Kirk; and a sister, Charlotte Plumley.
Those left to cherish his memory is his sons, Andy Kirk (wife, Caitlin), Shawn Kirk (wife, Christan); grandchildren, Andrea Kirk, Andrew Kirk, Nehemiah Kirk, Xavier Kirk, and Charlotte Kirk.
Danny enjoyed fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Shining Light Baptist Church and spent a lot of time in the bus ministry.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Shining Light Baptist Church; 3682 Tom Deal Avenue, Valdese, North Carolina.
