Doris Ingle Butler

Doris Ingle Butler, 85, of Morganton, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 8, 2011, while at the Burke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Valdese. Born August 1, 1925, in Burke .County, she was a daughter of the late Allen Alexander Ingle and Lela Keever Ingle. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butler was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Butler, an infant daughter, a sister, Vurmell Wall and two brothers, Paul and “Sam” Kenneth Ingle. Mrs. Butler was a member of the High Peak Baptist Church and was a LPN at Western Carolina Center until her retirement.

She will be lovingly remembered by a daughter, Brenda West, of Valdese;

Three grandchildren, Steve Butler, of whom she raised as her own son, Tinker West, Jr., and Brandi Pennington & husband, Kevin;

She will also be lovingly remembered by four great-granddaughters, Kayla Butler, Kezli, Khloe and Kamille Pennington.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton, with the Reverend James Sessions officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Kirksey Funeral Home.
