Emma "Dean" Silvers

Born on September 28, 1944, in North Carolina to the late Ruth Ramsey Bullman and Ezekiel Bullman.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Eddie James Silvers; brother, Ira Bullman; brother-in-laws, Champ Ray and John Lefeber.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Larry Silvers (wife, Jeanne Silvers); sisters, Shirley Ray and June Lefeber; grandson, Cody Silvers; granddaughter, Lauren Walker (husband, Tyler Walker); great grandson, Stetson Walker; sister-in-law, Shirley Plemmons; brother-in-law, Ronald Silvers (wife, Regina Silvers); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed vacations at the beach, spending time outdoors, watching wildlife, and admiring flowers. She was very close to her siblings and cherished the special bond they shared throughout her life.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, North Carolina with Reverend Ron Burgett officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The Interment will follow the service at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton, North Carolina.
