

Despite his battle with serious medical issues in recent years, Zang Gao’s faith in God never wavered. Zang Gao proclaimed the Gospel his entire life. He was a key leader who helped shape the vision for the future of the Hmong Christian Missionary Alliance during the late 1970s.
Zang Gao is survived by the love of his life, his wife Phu Xiong. They met while Zang Gao was serving as a First Lieutenant in General Vang Pao’s Army in Laos. It was love at first sight for Zang Gao. Together, Zang Gao and Phua have three accomplished daughters Kanggeua, Yee-Pai, and Kongbla, and four loving sons, Bee(deceased), Xang, Sony, and Abraham. Gao is also survived by 13 grandchildrenand three great grandchildren.
Zang Gao will be honored in a celebration of life on June 17 and 18 in Morganton, NC. Location:
