Lorraine Phyllis (Stevenson) McGuirk

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years Edward J. McGuirk, her brother Eddie Stevenson and her sister Norma Player.

She is survived by her sister Marion Baker; her daughter Lorraine (Laurie) Dow and her two sons, Sean and Andrew Dow and daughter Michelle Tibbits; daughter Gale O’Neal; and son David McGuirk and his wife Marjorie and son Brian; and five great grandchildren.

Phyl lived most of her life in Framingham, MA. She was a homemaker, a bookkeeper, a licensed real-estate broker and a hospital volunteer. She and Eddie retired to Englewood, FL and later moved to Asheville in 2005. They had a “summer place” in Vermont and loved to travel, spending many happy years crossing the USA in their RV, on cruise ships, and exploring Europe by train. At her end she said she’d had a wonderful life and was ready be reunited with Eddie and go to her next adventure
