Margaret Elizabeth Harshaw, 64, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at Grace Hospital after a period of declining health. She was born to the late Lucille Hice Logan on August 31, 1946 in Burke County were she has remained a lifelong resident.
Along with her mother, Margaret is preceded in death by her step-father, Sylvester Logan.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include three daughters, Belinda Whithworth and her husband, Kelly, Angela Ervin and her husband, Donald, and Wendy Harshaw, all of Morganton; two sons, Kenny Harshaw and Christopher Harshaw, both of Morganton; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and an aunt, Annie Johnson of Morganton. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Unity New Zion Temple Church in Lenoir with Pastor Sharon Logan officiating.
Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton has the honor of serving the Harshaw family.
