Maurice Miles Connelly

Born April 9, 1994 in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Rex M. Connelly and Gloria Dunlap. He was a member of Willow Tree A.M.E Church in Morganton, NC. He was in his second year of graduate school at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. Maurice was very active in numerous churches – Willow Tree AME Church, The Upper Room Church of God in Christ Raleigh, NC and The House of Peace Worship Church International in Vicksburg, MS. He was a 2012 Draughn High School graduate, and a 2017 graduate of Shaw University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.

Maurice was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents David and Annie Dunlap of Charlotte, NC. His aunts, Deborah Dunlap-Seagers, Patrice Dunlap and Jeanne Dunlap-Lande, and an uncle Gerald Miles Dunlap.
