Melane Victoria (Queen) Williams

Melane Victoria Williams, age 53, of Glen Alpine, North Carolina passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Melane was born the daughter of the late Garrett Alexander Queen, Sr and Grace Nail Queen on February 1, 1968.

Anyone who knew Melane, knew her laugh and how contagious it was. She loved to get people laughing and cutting up with her. Melane had a way of connecting with people in the most positive manner, she’s truly a soul that will be missed. As a mother she was always loving and compassionate and she recently became a grandmother which thrilled her to see her family grow. In her spare time, she loved to spend it traveling with friends and family, always going on trips. She loved watching sunsets no matter where she was. She always found that perfect view.

Along with her parents, Melane is preceded in death by her husband, Scott Williams.

Those left behind to cherish Melane's memory include her son; Marcus LaRoche and wife Megan of Morganton; a daughter, Micaela Stacey and husband Tyler of Mooresboro; and newly born granddaughter Matilyn LaRoche. Melane is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

We know that we can’t have you here anymore but we’re happy knowing that the angels finally have you back home. Goodbye to a beautiful woman and wonderful mother.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Rutherford College First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Flowers may be sent directly to the church.
