Michelle Caldwell Gunn

Michelle Caldwell Gunn, 47 of Morganton NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018. Born on September 28, 1970. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Caldwell and Nancy I. Caldwell both of Morganton, NC. Michelle graduated from Freedom High School. She was a state employee with J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center of Morganton for 20 plus years.

Michelle leaves behind her husband Mr. Kenneth Gunn, Sr. of the home, two sons Kyle Elijah Caldwell of Morganton, Kenneth Gunn, Jr. of Jacksonville, NC and one daughter Keke Gunn of Jacksonville, NC.; one sister Kimberly D. Wilson(Darrin) two brothers; Douglas Caldwell(Daphane) and Tyrone Caldwell both of Morganton, one grandmother

Mrs. Gertrude E. Corpening also of Morganton; in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.

Let it be known that Michelle was a prior member of Shiloh AME Church of Morganton and had just recently joined New Hope In Christ Baptist Church of Morganton, NC. Under the leadership of Pastor Max Bristol.

She will be missed by many who knew her and have left foot prints and memories gracefully with everyone she met. Singing and praying was a given for Michelle, and she wasn't shy about expressing it.
