Nena is preceded in death by her father, Chester Ledford; her mother, Oveta Branch Ledford Goble; and a sister, Timna Lewis Goldner..
Nena never met a stranger, she loved everyone. Her greatest loves in life were God, family, children and animals.
Those left behind to Cherish Nena's memory include two brothers, Roger Collins and his wife Sherry of Glen Alpine, and Bobby Ledford and his girlfriend Sissy Michaels of Chesterfield; several nieces and nephews; and her boyfriend, Glen Bradley of Chesterfield.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Vision Baptist Church, 1841 Fairview Rd., Marion, NC. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
