Ralph "June" Hamilton Jr.

He was born to the late Ralph Hamilton, Sr., and Agnes Rutherford December 23, 1935, in McDowell Co.

June was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, Nebo where he was a faithful member. He retired from Dixie Container after years of service. June will be missed his family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his son Ralph “Tootsie” Leon Hardy, stepchildren Tommy Hardy, Billy Hardy, and Irene Wilkerson, sister; Velma H. Morris, and brother; Leroy Hamilton

Those left to cherish Ralph “June” Hamilton’s memories include his son; Tony Durante “Woo” Hardy stepchildren; Linda Rutherford, Dorothy Carson, Nora “Nokey” Hardy, Jackie Scott, Earnest “Bubba” Caldwell, Robin Caldwell, and Marvin Caldwell, also surviving is a sister; Lynell Rutherford along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Rutherford Family Cemetery in Nebo.
