Ronnie Renlius Bingham

Ronnie Renlius Bingham, age 81, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.Ronnie was born the son of the late Sherman Bingham and Stella Bryant Bingham on October 14, 1942 in Cleveland County, NC,

Ronnie was retired from the US Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Ronnie will be greatly missed.

Along with his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Richard Bingham and Jerry Lee Bingham, and a sister Libby McKinney.

Those left behind to cherish Ronnie's memory include his wife, Kathryn Driggers Bingham, two sons, Sherman Charles Bingham and Shelby Steven Bingham of the home; a special adopted son, AJ Parsons of Leavenworth, KS; a brother, Eddie Bingham and his wife Robin of Old Fort; two grandchildren, Terri Clark and Tonya Oliver; and seven great grandchildren. Ronnie is also survived numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Preacher Kenny Schultz officiating. The US Navy will provide military honors. Interment will be held privately at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
