Sandy Lorraine leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted sister, Ada Tate Harbison of the home; a niece, Lorette Tate Swepson, of Morganton; a beloved great-niece, Kiran Ashley Tate; a beloved great-nephew, Torin William Tate; and two great-great nephews, Noah James Francis and Ayden Rashaun Francis, both of the home; two great-great nephews, Mesiyah Israel Zamir Tate and A'mir Khali Tate of Morganton; five aunts, Frannie Pinkston (Cliff), Martha Wilfong (Glen), Linda Burch and Virginia Burch (James), all of Hickory, NC and Margaret Sanders, of Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.
Lorraine was a loving independent person, who helped others to the best of her ability, especially helping the elderly in her church. Lorraine displayed her love for others in so many ways that others could not imagine. To her family and close friends, she is/was one of God's very special angels.
