Scott delivered to several stores I worked over the years.  We became friends over those years.  He was such a kind man with a great sense of humor.  My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones. 

Scott your funeral was priceless. To hear you sing your song was such a blessing to me. God received another angel when he took you home.
Your family misses you and I know your looking down from heaven. Thank you for all our memories. I love you hammer! 

Scott, Vernon, Brian and Preston,  what a foursome we were for about 20 plus years.  The fun and good times we had together will never be forgotten .  You and I talked quite a bit about Heaven the past year and a half.  I know you are there with the Father.  I can only imagine what a time you are having now.  See you again my brother.

Scott your were always a great person straight to the point. I will miss you so much our yearly golf trips to the beach our monthly golf outtings. you will be very missed it was always you and vo against me and the p dog awesome times don't how  to say I love you my friend looking forward to playing in after life love  you very  much I know you are very happy now.  God loves you and we do to.

Scott Williams, or Weese, as I've always called him, the brother my parents never gave me.  This is much harder for me than I had anticipated. I know he's free now, he's been relieved from the pain and suffering he's endured for so many months, but boy do we all miss him.  I'm really  going to miss our meals together, our phone calls, our trips, the Braves games, his advice, and our hanging out, just talking. He was one of a kind! A great person, a better friend, and always there, anytime. Thank you Scott, for being my friend!  I'll miss you every day until God brings me home, and we'll rejoice together! Rest my friend!

We had a circle of friends that would take a golf trip together occasionally or just go out on the town back in the day. Scott was one of the most humble people you'd ever meet.  He always had a sunny disposition and a positive attitude, even thru the last year. God is holding him close right now and giving him comfort. We will never forget his kindness to all and that great putting stroke. I love my brother Scott "weez" Williams and look forward to those golden fairways to play another round with of golf together.  Rest my friend. 

Scott was always there as far back as I can remember. I don't think I knew his God given name until I was like 16. He was there for our family in good and bad times, he will be missed.
He is out of pain and he is singing with the angels. God bless the family.


Dear Family,
Scott was all the time kidding me about not taking my turn singing a solo in church. When Wanda would say “Who has a song they would like to sing for next Sunday” Scott would always volunteer me. Then Katie would chime in and agree with Scott. Scott and Katie would always encourage me to sing and so did Joyce.  I’m so sorry that we all are going to miss him, but I’m not sorry that he is singing in heaven, worshipping our Lord, and not hurting anymore.. This goodbye is not forever, it’s only temporary. So I choose to celebrate Scott’s homegoing. Until we meet again Scott. My love to all of the family, and I will continue to pray for comfort and peace.

We were saddened to hear of Scott's passing. He was a great guy. 

Scott and I were friends for many years. He loved to play golf and shoot pool. In the past year Scotr and I shared a lot of time together as long as Melane gave him the go ahead. Lol. Scotts nick name was Hammer. I gave him that name on day on the golf course. Scott teed off and it looked like a missal. I said dang Hammer you busted that one. The name stuck.  My best friend Hammer was a great friend. He will be missed by his many friends. I guess your playing a round with Lewis Scotts dad. I love you brother.

I have so many memories with Scott from the time I had him when he was a young boy in Sunday School to the most recent times in the choir. I can still hear him singing, The Lighthouse. That light took him out of his pain and now he is rejoicing with the King. Love you Scott. Praying for all of the family as you go on without him. Keep your eyes focused on the Lord for Scott is waiting there for you.
