Shirley R Hendricks

Shirley was a member of Burns Memorial Baptist Church in Mineral Springs. She loved church, enjoyed cooking, porch sitting, birds, wind chimes, as well as flowers. Shirley was also true to her faith.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband Larry Hendricks of the home, son; Scott Hunt, daughter; Cindy Foster (Terry), step mother; Peggy Roberts Beaver, brothers; Jimmy Roberts, Jerry Roberts, Dennis Roberts, Lonnie Roberts, sister; Judy Carpenter, grandchildren; Dustin Chapman, Travis and Casey Foster, Kenneth Hunt, and Braylee Hunt, great grandchildren; Gracie Foster, and Cohen Foster.

She is preceded in death by a brother; Junior Roberts, sisters; Rosie Roberts, Molly Roberts, Geraldine Roberts, and Betty Roberts.

A celebration of life for Shirley will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Burns Memorial Baptist Church at 5490 Mineral Springs Avenue, Valdese, NC, with Reverend Dwight Lowman officiating. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family respectfully request memorials be made to Burns Memorial Baptist at 5490 Mineral Springs Avenue, Valdese, NC.
