Tarell Lannette Gwynn

The Lord made his return for Tarell Lannette Gwynn, 46, of Hickory, formally of Morganton on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center after a short term illness. Tarell was born the late Ervin Harbison, Jr., and Nannie Mae Avery on June 18, 1975 in Morganton, North Carolina. She worked for Greenway Transportation for over 20 years. She enjoyed driving the vans and buses and seeing different faces. Tarell was known to put a smile among lots of faces. Tarell will be missed by many. Along with her parents, Tarell was preceded in death by her grandparents Napoleon and Robbie Avery, sister Annie Avery, aunts Leola Avery, and Annette and Thomas Moore. Those left behind to cherish memories include husband; Rhonald Gwyynn, daughters; Aleshia Rippy, Alexis Ferguson, and Alivih Harris, grandchildren; Adrian Rippy, Adrianna McClendon, De'leshia Reid, Amiran Reid, Malayah Sims, Amir Walters, and Marea Sims, also surviving are sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. A receiving of family and friends for Tarell will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at Kirksey Funeral Home, 406 Lenoir Rd., Morganton, NC 28655. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM. An interment will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Willow Tree AME Church Cemetery.
