Thomas William Moore

Mr. Moore served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Shiloh AME Church where he served as the Sunday School Superintendent, served on the acting Board of Stewards of Protim, a member of the Male Chorus and member of the Janitorial Services.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Moore; son, Terry Calvin Moore; sisters, Hattie Gardin and Elizabeth Castello; brothers, Melvin Moore, James Moore, Wilson Moore, Lonnie Moore, Joseph Moore, Edward Moore, Floyd Moore and Robert Moore.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Caldwell and husband, Randal of Morganton; sons, Thomas Leroy Moore and Anthony Gregory Moore, both of Morganton and Ronald Stephen Moore of Hickory; sister, Lillian McDuffie of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at Shiloh AME Church with the Reverend Wayne Beaty. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
