Violett Schmidt, age 86, of Marion, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. Violett was born the daughter of the late Joseph Rogers and Edith Taylor Rogers on September 30, 1935 in McDowell County, NC.
A memorial service for Violett will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Old Fort Church of God, 4900 Greenlee Rd, Old Fort, NC. The Rev. Carl Overton will officiate.
