

She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a wonderful cook who enjoyed cooking for company that came over, especially her family. But her most favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandkids and her pets, whom she loved dearly.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents: William and Dorothy Free and Helen and C.L. Phillips. She has now joined the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Kenneth "Curt" Gulley, who just passed in April 2025, their son: Tony (Peggy) Gulley. Brothers: Jacky and Billy Free.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Tammy Gulley, who was the advocate for the care of his mother. Randy is a wonderful son and took loving care of his mother and father. Grandchildren: Toni (Drew) Estes, Christi Gulley, Jerrica (Ryan) Coulter and Miranda (Josh) Archer; great grandchildren: Amya O'Rourke, Keelyn Burnett, Penelope Estes, Kennedy Asbury and Jaxson Archer. Sister: Vicki Monday. Several nieces and nephews and a lot of special friends.
Ann's family would like to say a special thank you to Kim and the nurses at Jefferson Health and Rehab Center, Annette and Brittany with Gentiva Hospice, and Pat Taylor, her sitter, for the wonderful care and support they provided.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Rev. Ross Woody officiating.
