Angie Ramsey

Angie B. Ramsey, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be forever missed. Her family was her entire world. She was always her family’s biggest fan and greatest supporter! She loved to make sure everyone knew how proud she was of her family and how much she loved them. The love she gave will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Oral “Lester” Ramsey; her daughter: Kimberly Griffie; her parents: Roy and Lillie Mae Baker; brothers: Jim Baker and Earl Baker; and sister: Dora Brooks.

She was survived by her son: Randy (Hollie) Ramsey; grandchildren: Miranda Ramsey, Lauren Hopkins, and Brad Ramsey; great-grandchildren: Tison Johnson, Skylan Johnson, Emmalynn Hopkins, Bryer Ramsey, Baker Ramsey, Dalton Hopkins, and Cason Hopkins; Sisters: Lucille (Melvin) Coody and Ruth (Bob) Archer; brothers: Larry Baker and Charles (Irene) Baker; son-in law Dale Griffie; along with many special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Angie was a member of Stathem Gap Church and she retired from JC Penny. We want to give a special thanks to everyone at UT Hospice and Holly’s Helping Hands for the care she received during her time at home.

Receiving friends and family will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 at Stubblefield Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM. The burial will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Hamblen Memory Gardens at 11:00. Services will be held by Rev Benny Jones and Rev Tyler Dalton.
