Ann attended Massena Schools. Ann started her career in retail working at several local stores throughout the years, but she's remembered mostly for working at Ames Dept. store as the Jewelry Dept. Manager. Ann knew every department and worked at the registers definitely making friends along the way with her warm, welcoming and outgoing personality. Many of those friends remained lifelong friends.
She loved animals of all kinds especially cats, having more than one at all times. She also would place food on her porch for the animals out in nature, they became a nightly sight to see coming to get their snacks and dinner. They were not afraid of Ann and would come to trust her, she got the biggest kick out of watching them on her porch.
Ann was a "spitfire", she loved life and her journey. She could tell stories of her adventures and experiences making you laugh and feel like you were there yourself. Ann was such a positive person, genuine, loving, full of grace and dignity. Ann would help anyone, having compassion and empathy for those less fortunate than herself. She was a woman who was proud, hard working, honest and reliable. Ann was someone you wanted to keep close in your circle, a cherished gift to many. She will surely be missed and remembered. Roma Moates, a dear friend became her caregiver later in life, giving Ann needed assistance with love and compassion.
May Ann's beautiful soul rest in peace and may the eternal light perpetually shine upon her. Rest in Peace.
