

Anna V. Sipe Ricker, 83, of the Warrensburg Community, died suddenly at home Sunday. Anna retired from Universal after forty years of service and was a lifetime farmer. She was a hardworking lady with a heart of gold. After her retirement she was her happiest spending time with her family. She enjoyed telling stories of her childhood and was known to play a mean hand of Rook. Survivors include her daughter, Susie Anna Crews(Shannon) of the home, her granddaughters she regarded as her own: Elizabeth Mamie Malone(Nathan) of Warrensburg, Deloris Ann Seale(Randy) of New Market, and Loretta Sue Parton(Craig) of Talbott, grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, and Tiffany Warren of the home, Jennifer Crews of Newport, Shannon Crews(Aubrey) of Greeneville, and Shelia Crews Reid(Antre) of Middletown, Ohio. She had 9 grandchildren and spent much time with Alysun Malone, Nicholas Sinard, and Ressa Parton. She is survived by sisters: Lenore Cobble of Midway, Ella Horner of Janesville, Wisconsin, Betty Kalal, Mary Atkinson of Janesville, Wisconsin, Kathy Tempest of Mohawk and Peggy Wilder of Saint Clair, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William Edward Ricker, Jr., her husband of forty-two years, William Edward Ricker, Sr., her parents, Mamie Alice Riley Sipe and Bert Lee Sipe, her brothers: Charles Bert, Riley Lee, James Edward, Henery Louis, Billy Pat, and Robert Donald Sipe, and sister Shirley May Day, and nephew Johnnie Lloyd Day.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6pm-8pm. The memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Reverend Lawrence Edward Jones officiating. Procession and burial will immediately follow in Wisecarver Cemetery on North Mohawk Road in Mohawk.
Pallbearers are A.K. Killion, Barry Jarrell, Lee Kerney, Brian Malone, Homer Malone, and Tim Wisecarver. The family would like to thank the Staff, Nurses, and Physicians of Laughlin Memorial Hospital ICU and the Fourth Floor for their loving care. Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown is in charge of the arrangements.
