Bolena Harrell

Bolena Harrell, age 80, of Bean Station, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was saved at an early age in the Baptist faith. She worked at Lear Corp for 33 ½ years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Elva Nichols; and sisters, Helen Tipton and Jane Grubb.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Johnny Harrell; children, Bobby (Sandy) Harrell of Mooresburg, Gearlline “Gerri” Mick (fiancé, Guy Bortz) of Whitesburg, Jeff (Dina) Harrell of Kyles Ford, Greg (Amy) Harrell of Bean Station; grandchildren, Jonathan (Krissi) Hurst, Melissa (Jeffery) Rose, Zach (Anna) Harrell, Alena Harrell, Rick Stuffle, Tara Jones, Nikki Bailey; great-grandchildren, Cashton, Natalie, Addilyn, Laylon; brother, Clyde Nichols of Kyles Ford; sisters, Alice Trent of Morristown, Dorothy (Charles) Barkwell of Florida, Tootsie Fisher of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Derek Drummonds officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
