Bonnie Marie Greene Byrd

Bonnie Marie Byrd, age 85, of White Pine, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2012. She was born to Myrtle and Clyde Greene in Hancock Co. on January 12, 1927. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in White Pine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Byrd; sons, Michael and Ronnie Byrd; grandson, Michael Anthony Byrd; brothers, Doyle and Wayne Greene; and sister, Edith Manor.

Survivors include son, Gary (Cathy) Byrd; daughter-in-law, Jenny Byrd; grandchildren, Mathew, Robbie, Nova Byrd, Russell Tillman and Pete Peade; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Casey, and Slade, Anson Wampler, and Davis Wampler; brothers, Ken (Evelyn) Greene, Edd (Ruth) Greene, Dale (Carolyn) Greene; sisters, Lucille Constant, Dollie Seals, and Brenda Lee; many nieces, nephews, and special friends; and pets, BJ and Maggie. She was a blessing to every life she touched.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Owens officiating. Family and friends will meet at West View Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the services at the funeral home.
