Buford "Buck" Charles Burger, age 74, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 23, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the US Army Reserves. Preceding him in death were his parents, Carroll and Elsie Burger; brother, Jimmy Burger; and sisters, Shirley Burger and Carolyn Deal.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Crum; children, Tracy (Shelia) Burger, Audie Burger; step-children, April (Andy) Bolden, Patty McNabb; grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua Burger, Christina Locke, Andy and Anna Bolden, Jordan and Keesha Cope, Angel Collins; great-grandchildren, Oceania Star Burger, Isabella, Cayden, Addison Sue, Marissa, Cassidy and Donnivan; brother, Don Burger; and special friend, Clifford.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Dockins officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Friday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. VFW Post #5266 will provide military honors.
