Danny Lynn Phillips, age 68, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Danny recently moved from Bean Station, TN. He was a former Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Mooresburg, TN. He retired from T.R.W. Danny was an avid fisherman and hunter, loved to play softball in his younger days, and was very active in his local community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy and Ollie Phillips. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Helen L. Phillips. He was a father to his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Ronda Phillips of Cleveland, TN. He was a loving Grandfather to his three grandchildren, Brodey, Heath, and DeRee. Danny had three sisters, Wilma (Alvin) Collins of Bean Station, TN, Cookie (Tim) Cope, of Bean Station, TN, Pat (Fred) Campbell of Bean Station, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 at Victory Baptist Church, Morresburg. TN with Rev. Truman Coffey officiating. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 3:00p.m. in Dalton Cemetery, Bean Station, TN. Stubblefield Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
