

She loved the Lord and was saved at a young age at Grace’s Missionary Baptist Church. A member of Rock Haven Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Loved going coon hunting, loved the sound of the hound. She also loved traveling. To know her was to love her. She never turned down a chance to make a home cooked meal. Never met a stranger. Was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
She was a colon cancer fighter for 3 ½ years. She never let it get her down. She was a fighter all the way to the end. She would say “Just a bad day, not a bad life.”
Proceeded in death by her father: Ray G. Hipshire; mother: Pearl (Atkins) Hipshire; and husband: James Allen.
Donna is survived by her eight children: Dustin (Emily) Bowlin, Tiffany (Lennon) Voiles, Derrick Hipshire, Chasity Lee, Brittany (Thomas) Allen, Dawn (Nicholas) Brogden, Douglas (Makayla) Combs, and Caden Lee; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, siblings: Patricia (Ed) Jarnigan, Carolyn (Marvin) Collins, Lisa Hipshire, Virch (Missy) Hipshire, Zina Hipshire, and Scott Hipshire.
The family will receive friends at Stubblefield Funeral Home Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, at Rock Haven Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00pm with Rev. Lee Gulley and Rev. Dusty Jones officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Hipshire Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Brogden, Thomas Smith, Lennon Voiles, Dale Cope, Waylon Lamb, and Brandon Lamb.
