Edna Lou Nicely, age 67, of Russellville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. Sr. and Mattie Lou Nicely; and sister, Georgia Ruth Langston. She leaves to survive in her memory, son, Jonathan “Jon Jon” Nicely; siblings, James C. Nicely Jr. of Morristown, Cora E. Nicely of Russellville, Roberta (Joe) Patton of Morristown, Robert (Debbie) Nicely of Whitesburg, and Sammie Nicely of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, Hollis Langston Jr. of Russellville; aunt, Charlsie McNair of Morristown; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Saturday, October 15 at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Marks and Rev. Joe Senter officiating. Interment will follow in Russellville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
