Ernest R. Meech, age 75, of Bean Station, formerly of Streamwood, IL went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and was of the Lutheran faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann Meech; parents, William and Myrtle Meech; infant daughter, Susan Meech; and brother, Robert Meech. Survivors include his son, Kevin (Michelle) Meech of Hampshire, IL; grandchildren, Pam Meech and Steven Meech of Hampshire, IL; great-granddaughter, Gianna Slater of Hampshire, IL; son, Daniel Meech of Bean Station, TN; grandson, Nathan Meech of Bean Station, TN; siblings, Bill, Cathleen, Ralph, and John Meech, all of Illinois and Karen of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be planned for a later date and will be announced by the family. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, TN.
