He attended the Circle C Cowboy Church on Highway 160 in Lowland, proudly served the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, and was a lifetime member of both Kyle Masonic Lodge #422 in Whitesburg as well as Elks Lodge 1667 in Morristown. Jackie was a longtime cattle farmer, an avid golfer, and loved to spend time with his precious granddaughter whom he referred to as “Myrt.”
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Mary Ruth Greer; and two sisters: Margaret Brogan and Annelle Cox.
He is Survived by his Significant Other: Becky Greer; Sons: Darren Greer and Robby Greer; 2 Grandchildren: Zayda Greer & Dalton Greer; Stepmother: Lucy Greer; Half-Brothers: David (Jean) Greer of Knoxville & Larry Greer of Naples, Florida; several Nieces & Nephews, and Best Friend and farming buddy: Frank Matthews.
