Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Dixon, and a brother, Marshall Dixon.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Dixon; his mother, Katie Jean Dixon; sons, Scottie Dixon (Kami) , and and Dakota Sanders; a daughter; Kimberly Jefferson (Donnie); step-children: Lora Sinard (James), and Arthur Larson; grandchildren, Trey, Aria, Richard, Brittany, Falyn, and Jacqueline; a sister, Brenda Purkey (Hugh), and a half-brother, Leonard Rogers.
Funeral service for Mr. Dixon will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2013 from the Stubblefield Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Danny Purkey and Mr. Paul Chapman will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:45 A.M. Monday June 24, 2013 at the Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 A.M. interment. The family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. Sunday preceding the services.
