James W. Witt, age 82, of Whitesburg, went to be with his Lord on January 3, 2025 and to be with his Dad and Mom, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Witt; his sisters: Sue Lane and Brenda Wolfenbarger; granddaughter: Angel Johnson; daughter-in-law: Debby Witt and daughter: Jeanine Depew.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who leaves behind his wife of 62 years: Linda Carolyn Witt; son: Andy Witt; sisters: Pat (Don) Sizemore and Sandy Harris. 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
