Lisa Gayle Kirk, age 58, of Bulls Gap TN, Sadly left this earth on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at her home in Bulls Gap after fighting stage 4 lung cancer for almost 2 years.

Lisa was born on January 17,1967 in Greeneville TN to Mary Nell and Jimmy Mack Kirk. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones especially with her grandkids. She loved doing karaoke, shooting pool on the weekends with her friends, fishing, and riding motorcycles with her fiancé. Her favorite place to visit and relax was at the beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Nell And Jimmy Mack Kirk; her husband of 14 years, Jerry Cody; her stepson Shaun Spurling and her fur babies Coco, Taco, Millie, and Sassy.

She is survived by her fiancé Johnny Spurling; her 2 brothers Dale Kirk and Gordon Kirk; Her 3 kids Cassandra Cody (Tim Gala), Ricky Cody (Megan Russell), Melinda (Andrew) Yount; Her 2 stepsons Devon Spurling and Jeremy Spurling; 11 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren and her beloved fur babies Lil bit, Fay ray, Tommy and Bella.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Tuesday July 1st,2025 at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral Services to follow at 6pm with Greg Ellison officiating. Family and Friends will meet at Stubblefield Funeral Home at 10:15am on Wednesday July 2, 2025 to follow in procession to the Family Cemetery on Three Springs Rd. for Graveside service at 11 am. If anyone wants to wear purple instead of black they can because it was her favorite color.
