Mable Davis McCollough

Mable Dorothy McCollough, age 76, of Mooresburg, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 21, 2015 after a prolonged illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd McCollough Sr.; parents, Leola and Elmer Davis; brother, Fred "Buddy" Davis; sister, Opal Scearce; special nephew, Michael Scearce and son-in-law, Anthony Strange. Mable was loved by all who knew her and in turn showered those around her with love and care. She was a member of Rocky Summit Baptist Church.

Surviving loved ones include, but are not limited to her son, Wayne Lloyd McCollough, Jr.; daughter, Carolyn Jalane Strange. Grandchildren , Gary (Amanda) McCollough, Chris (Sarah) McCollough, Amanda (Eddie) Strange, Trevor (Savannah) Strange. great grandson, Dexter McCollough and Anthony Warren. great granddaughter, Gabrielle McCollough. Brother Jack (Carolyn) Davis; sister-in-law, Faye Davis and brother-in-law, Tom "Junior" Scearce. Nieces and Nephews, Rita (Roy) Roberts, Terry Davis, Jeff Davis, Jackie Davis, Brandy (Lee) Long, Crystal (Cody) Carpenter, David Roberts and Linda (Mickey) Strange.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCollough will conducted on Wednesday, March 25, at 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. The Rev. Rodney Ricketts will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm prior to the services at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 am on Thursday at the Meek Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service.
