Margaret Velma Bozzell

Margaret ‘Marge’ Velma Bozzell, age 93, was born October 25, 1931 to Cecelia and Carl Giles. Margaret went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025 at her home in Morristown, TN with her daughter Jonnie and friend Dorothy by her side. Marge was loved by her family and her friends.

Marge was born in Bell County, KY and moved to Baltimore, MD in her teenage years. Marge worked 15 years for the Inspector General prior to her and John becoming house parents at Milton Hersey School from 1974-1981. Her and John then moved to Glen Burnie, MD until she retired from the NSA at the age of 65. Marge and John retired to Bristol, TN and then to Greeneville, TN for several years until he passed with her final home being in Morristown, TN at the Regency Retirement Home where she developed caring friendships with the other residents. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an active church member who dedicated her life to the Lord.

Marge is survived by her two daughters: Sue Clark and Jonnie Witt, her sons-in-law: Steve Clark and Dale Witt, Jr.; her 8 grandchildren: Heather Benevento, Jennifer Street, Dale Witt, III, Tiffany Peacock, Gregory Long, Jason Witt, Dennis ‘Bear’ Bryant, and Savannah Kirkland, and her 12 great grandchildren: Cecelia, Jacob, Nathan, Haley, Blake, Braidyn, Kylie, Hunter, MacKenzie, Tyler, Nova, Leah, Gage, and Ridge.

Marge is predeceased by her husband:John Bozzell, her mother and father: Cecelia & Carl Giles, her brothers and sister:Bryant Giles, Jerry Giles, and Joanne Frye, and her daughter: Linda Cowan.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm with the service starting at 2:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home with Mark Greene as the officiant. Marge will be buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, TN next to her beloved husband of 60 years, John Bozzell, at 4:30 pm following the service.
