MARY LOU HOLT, age 67, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on June 14, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evertt and Mae Bowlin; brothers, June, Reece and T.A. Bowlin; sisters, Betty Phillips, Hattie Campbell and Eva Kitts; and grandson, Joe Cheatham. Mary is survived by her husband, Rev. Ray Holt; sons, Lonnie (Melissa) Holt and Donnie (Sherrie) Holt; grandchildren, Maranda (Cody) Hatfield, Amanda Holt, Josh Holt, Nick Holt and Alicia Cheatham; great-grandchildren, Dakota Waites, Caitlyn Cheatham and Olivia Warren; special best friends, Shirley Long, Phyllis Long, Betty Roberts and Arge Roach; sisters, Jessie Hill, Marie Rickard, Lizzie Sloan; brothers, Doyle, Dana and Homer Bowlin; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Bowlin and the Rev. Frankie Holt officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home.
