Mary Elsie Drinnon Parker, age 82, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at her home. She was a member of Cobb’s Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Parker; parents, Mack and Nola Drinnon; brother, Kyle Drinnon; and sisters, Bonnie Hurd and Ilean Atkins. Survivors include her sister, Nellie Oliver; brothers, Dewey Drinnon, Carl (Nida) Drinnon, and JB Drinnon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Sunday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Cozart and Rev. Ricky Parker officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Monday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening prior to the services at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
