Norsie Buell Brewer

NORSIE BUELL BREWER, age 95, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Morristown, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Hospice House of Bowling Green. Norsie was married to the late Walter Dayton Brewer. She was born in Hancock County, TN on December 6, 1921 to the late Albert and Martha Buell. She was a seamstress and a longtime member of Greenwood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law and thirteen brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son, Delbert H. (Kay) Brewer of Greencastle, IN; one daughter, Evelyn L. (Gayson) Terry of Bowling Green, KY; five grandchildren, Randy (Melony) Terry, Cynthia Brewer, Jill (Joe) Spiker all of Greencastle, IN, Lee (Martha) Terry of Shreveport, LA and Warren (Patricia) Terry of Lumberton, TX; nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky 5872 Scottsville RD, Bowling Green, KY 42104.
