Paris Seals, age 74, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2021. He was a member of Roe Junction Baptist Church. Paris started out working as a carryout grocer at Cas Walkers and eventually retired from Food City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev Horace and Mildred Seals; and brother, Dean Seals.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandy (Ronnie) Messer; sisters, Ilene (Gene) Angel, Grovet (Rick Cline) Parvin; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn “Cotton” Seals; his daughter’s mother, Janice Arwood; step-grandchildren, Makayla, Kelsey, and Zak (Amber) Messer; step-great-grandchildren, Nia and Max Messer; nieces, Glenda (Tommy) Gibbs, Donna Parvin, Tammy Beck; nephews, David Fullington, Eddie Seals, Billy Parvin; and special friends, Roberta Knight and her daughter, Brianna, Hal Robertson, and employees of Food City.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev Michael Taylor officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Friday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
