Patsy Ellen O'Brien

Patsy Ellen O’Brien, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2022. She passed with her husband and daughter by her side. Patsy was a woman of grace and beauty and her family was the light of her life. She was a living testimony of unwavering faith and the power of a miracle working God. Patsy spent many years singing and ministering about the goodness of God. She touched the lives of so many and her loss will be deeply felt by everyone who knew her. Patsy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Roy and Opal Maynard; two brothers: Roy Maynard and Johnny Maynard and five sisters: Susie Heaton, Connie Maynard, Darlene Leake, Barbara Helvey, & Mary Gaddis.

Patsy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Jerry O’Brien; her youngest daughter and family, Shanna & Oscar Meadows, Michael Jeremiah and newest grandson, 6 month old, Landon Alexander; her oldest daughter, Edie Bryant and family, Emily and Jaison Yoshimura, and 1 year old great-grandson, William Roan Yoshimura, and Edie’s two sons, Josh and Clay Bryant. She is also survived by two brothers, Rev. Jackie Maynard & Sammy Maynard; and two sisters, Brenda McCoy and Kathy Maynard.

The family will receive a few friends & family for a brief viewing at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held in the Hamblen Memory Gardens on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
